lol yup! we started one on facebook, Chronic Pain Awareness NZ – theres people with all sorts of illnesses in there, and we’re basically just about listening when ranting is needed, sharing information & answering questions when we can & chatting about stuff. come join the fun its a private group so apply to join & i’ll add you, i’m one of the admin. i’m also working on setting up a forum here which will function much the same xo see you soon!

Just wondering if you know of a support group or something similar for people with chronic pain that is not illness specific? I have one of those crazy rare diseases and so far I think i’m the only one in NZ so setting up a support group for one could be lonely Thanks

What a beautiful, beautiful memory you have. You sound very talented and I wish you all the best for the future. I too grieve, but not for one lost from this world, for one that I cannot be with.

Some days are fun, some are not.
Some are delightful, some just go to pot.

But like your words, I too have such beautiful memories which sustain me, albeit bucketsful of tears in between and the years keep on rolling by. So it goes on and on, until?

Beautiful work. A perfect allegory for asking the question why pain visits. I particularly like the mood the photo above creates, with a searching hope of light to eradicate a pain’s darkness. Well done and well deserved recognition.
