Prizes 2010

We finally have confirmation of our brilliant prizes! so heres what you’ll be winning, or what you’ve already won as a Daily prize – which will all be in the mail as soon as i manage to get your postal addresses. the first second & third will be chosen based on quality of the piece and how well it fits the Brief, which a few of the pieces have strayed from somewhat. The Judges will also select pieces to be sold in the auction, from those entries the artists are prepared to donate – that list will be up after the final judging is done.

First Prize - A feature article in the fantastic online art maagazine,  Gallery 36! The article will cover  the artist, their work and this cause, thanks to Selene Simcox at Gallery 36.  The article will be sent out in the magazine to all the glitterati that read it, AND be available on the website blog. Second Prize – One Year basic subscription to the NZ Art Guild, donated by the manager Sophia Elise.  Membership to the Guild will get you up to date information on the latest competitions and other art news, access to articles tutorials and advice from industry professionals, free participation in in house challenges and access to their country-wide network of artists. You will also have a mini-profile on their artists directory  for online promotion, and the chance to participate in numerous NZ Art Guild exhibitions and events around NZ. Third Prize - 45min massage with Holly from Rewind massage - the woman single handedly responsible for keeping me moving for the last 5 years. She’s got magical hands and the hardest elbows of anyone i know – but the massage can be fierce or relaxing, whichever you choose

Peoples Choice – the piece with the most votes by the end of the competition – combined votes from both the fb fanpage and the website – will be eligible to be in the exhibition, and to be auctioned off for charity  at Tabac if the artist is willing to donate it.

Daily Prizes – have been provided by Whittakers Chocolate, Smoove clothing, Daniel Mainwaring, Jo from PixieMoon, Ragdoll Familiars and Exolinx. Those who won daily prizes either already know, and have eaten their chocolate, or will know as soon as i manage to tell them & get an address!
