About the Piece: I wanted to depict the Metamorphosis of how I feel from pain and despair to faith and looking into the future. Dealing with fibromyalgia on a day to day basis means the courage to always look upwards.

About the Artist: I am an amateur photographer myself but I asked my partner to take this shot . I am a fibromyalgia sufferer and got diagnosed 8 yrs ago. During this time I have managed my pain with heat, massage and osteo treatments, however this year I suffered a late miscarriage which has triggered my fibro pain to a new level. I now have daily pain, anxiety and am dealing with it day by day.
