About the Piece: It’s a poem and graphic piece that represents how pain has affected my life in the last few weeks. The poem, because I know the text is a tad small:
NAIL ME
ConSUME ME
Call me your pain,
…
Douse me with killers
Send me insane
It starts with a niggle
Then sends me to bed
Overdose likely, PAIN searing RED
Can’t sleep in the morning
No laying in here,
Just lying in pain
Curled up in fear
Can I remember, what is was like from before?
When it was easy to bend to the floor …
To jump up and down, and stand on one leg
Before it consumed me …

I have been suffering pain from my back, hip and leg for about three weeks now. I hope for it to improve with physio (I injured myself while moving) I can’t imagine what it would be like to think I was never getting better.
Hey, thanks Flik. I hurt myself while we were moving and I have been getting a whole muther load of referred pain though my hip and down my leg.
