Unseen

Artist: Warwick Rule

Title of Piece: Unseen

About the Piece: I wanted to try and illustrate that just because you can’t see anything on the outside doesn’t mean you’re not suffering.

About the Artist: I have been drawing and painting for myself for many years but this is my first atempt at producing something totally digital using a tablet and photoshop. I have suffered from severe lower back pain for the last 15-20 years after rupturing my lowest disc then 2 years ago I had to have an operation to remove a bulge in the disc and it is now a constant weak spot but I try to stay mobile with martial arts

I think it is beautiful, the shadow says it all.

Yes.. The shadow…. the dark private side

The dark side is always private, whether it be good, bad or indifferent. If it was not private then there would be light because you do not need to hide. Pain, like troubles, whether physical or mental, when shared is bearable. So I applaude the sensitive drawing, the meaning it shows and the skill from the mind to the hand. V
